Call right station for response: police

POLICE have urged Casey residents to make sure they telephone the right police station when in need of assistance.
Senior Sergeant Gerry Hengel of Narre Warren police said many stations were receiving telephone calls from residents who did not live in their response zones.
He encouraged residents to remember which station looked after their suburb.
Sen Sgt Hengel said this would promote more efficient policing in the community as officers would not have to redirect calls.
Residents living in Narre Warren, Narre Warren South, Berwick and Harkaway should call Narre Warren police station on 9705 3111.
Residents living in Endeavour Hills, Hallam, Doveton, Eumemmerring and Lysterfield are asked to contact Endeavour Hills police on 9709 7666.
Residents living in Cranbourne, Cranbourne West, Cranbourne North, Hampton Park, Lynbrook, Devon Meadows, Clyde and Pearcedale should contact Cranbourne police on 5995 4681.
