MARAMBA Primary School students turned up in full force to the school of rock last Friday.
The Narre Warren school hall was transformed into a concert arena and older students from neighbouring Eumemmerring College took centre stage.
Year 8, 9 and 10 students from the Fountain Gate campus of Eumemmerring College visited six local primary schools over two days to perform an array of songs.
Event coordinator Wayne Smith said the seven students chosen to tour were selected after their impressive efforts at a school talent quest.
“The reaction from the schools has just been fantastic,” Mr Smith said.
He said the students had enjoyed performing at every school but the highlight was a visit to a local special development school.
“The reaction from the children and their carers at Dandenong Valley School was just great,” he said.
