Hi fi shop raided

AN EARLY morning raid netted thieves nearly $20,000 worth of electrical equipment on Monday when a music and hi-fi store in Narre Warren was targeted.
Detective Senior Constable Brian Whitehead said an unknown number of offenders entered the Stothers Music and HI-Fi store, located at the Casey Life Style Centre on the Princes Highway at about 1.30am.
He said they had smashed a glass window at the front of the store before gaining entry.
Det Sen Con Whitehead said the thieves had taken two Optoma projectors worth $4000 each, a Leowe concept LCD television worth $4000 and a Fujitsu 42-inch plasma panel television worth $7000.
He said a Yamaha receiver worth $900 had also been taken during the spree.
