NARRE WARREN resident and award-winning wildlife artist Janet Matthews has been selected as the guest artist for the Kevin Hill’s Top Ten Australian Artists Art Show to be held in the City of Casey in October.
Ms Matthews said she was delighted to be selected for this year’s event, which will feature artwork from some of Australia’s most renowned artists, including Max Mannix and Pro Hart.
“The Art Show is an amazing exhibit to be involved in because of the calibre of artists across Australia who are involved, and the popularity of the exhibition,” Ms Matthews said.
City of Casey mayor Colin Butler congratulated Ms Matthews at her home studio and encouraged all residents and art lovers to attend the free exhibition.
“Janet Matthews is an outstanding talent and one of the most celebrated artists in Casey who has earned her place in this exceptional line up of artists,” Cr Butler said.
Kevin Hill’s Top Ten Australian Artists Art Show will be held at the City of Casey Civic Centre from Saturday 20 to Sunday 21 October.
The exhibition will be open on Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
