IT was a full house at Robinson Reserve on Saturday and the Doveton fans weren’t disappointed as the Doves came away with three wins against Narre Warren.

Doveton continued its winning ways against a strong Narre Warren team with a hard-fought 17-point win.
The Doves started well, but were under immense pressure with the backline standing tall and only conceding an eight-point lead at half-time.
An inspiring speech by coach Steve Henwood got the Doves fired up and they showed why they were champions last year with a seven-goals-to-two third quarter.
The last quarter saw the game get very heated and the scoreline get closer, but the Doves prevailed.
Justin Hill played another excellent game on-ball and chipping in up forward with two goals and Peter Greenstreet was again solid in defence.
Up forward Ryan Hendy, David George, Rohan Scott and Brad Downe all kicked three.

The seconds showed the depth at Doveton Football Club with a strong 58-point win that took it to third on the ladder.
The Doves never looked like losing, taking a seven-goal lead into half-time and winning the last two quarters.
Pete Dye continued his good form up forward, kicking four goals and pairing up with his cousin Michael Gardner who kicked three.
Glenn Hamilton played a good game in the midfield, also kicking three goals and was given first use by ruckman Ben Anderson who battled hard all game.
Nathan Wilson was the key down back, taking several marks and putting his body on the line.

Doveton got back that winning feeling with a seven-point win over Narre Warren in windy conditions.
The Doves got off to another slow start trailing marginally by eight points at half-time.
Like the seniors, the thirds came out firing in the third quarter and set up the win, kicking fours goal and holding Narre Warren goalless.
Cory Grant played a great game up forward kicking four goals along with Daniel Zajac, who finished with two.
James Pattinson played a terrific first game for the Doves at full-back, rebounding the ball several times.
