THE move from primary to high school should be easy for students at Southern Cross Primary School.
Grade five and six students at the Endeavour Hills primary school have forged strong ties with nearby Gleneagles Secondary College after undertaking a series of activity afternoons run by the year 9 Leadership Team.
As part of the school’s transition program, students enjoyed a tour of the secondary college and a sports afternoon and barbecue led by the Gleneagles students.
The activities provided students with a wonderful insight into secondary school as well as providing a fabulous opportunity for year nine students to develop their leadership skills.
