Legends talk sport

CRICKET legend David Boon and football and racing raconteur Peter ‘Crackers’ Keenan will head up a star-studded bill for the Narre Warren Football Club sportsman’s and auction night coming up on Saturday 5 August.
Comedy entertainment will be provided by Matt Hardy and Oscar Swarv, while Magpies coach Aussie Jones has invited a few of his former St Kilda teammates along for the evening with Fraser Gehrig, Steven Milne, Lenny Hayes, Stephen Baker, Justin Koschitzke and Troy Schwarze among those already confirmed.
The event starts at 7pm at the Narre Warren North Hall, in Memorial Drive and signed AFL guernseys and other exclusive sports memorabilia items will be auctioned.
Tickets are $35 per head and include entry, finger food and a stubby holder to mark the event. Drinks will be available at bar prices.
