BERWICK Fields Primary School students jammed along with some music-loving police officers during a high energy performance recently.
Code One Victoria Police Band visited the school as part of a unit where students learn about community based organisations.
Code One attempts to maintain public confidence and perception and conveys positive messages targeting the Victorian community through the universal language of music. Teacher Lara Laverman said the school was thrilled with the performance.
“They did a great job of revving all the children up and conveyed important safety messages such as wearing bike helmets, wearing seat belts and reminding everyone of the emergency telephone number of triple zero,” she said.
