A “STORE of the Year” plaque and computer equipment have been stolen from a Hallam fast food restaurant.
Hungry Jacks was broken into on Sunday 9 July at 1am after a small hole was smashed in a window.
Judging by the size of the hole, police believe a young person or someone small in stature might be responsible for the break-in. Detective Senior Constable Shane Moodie said the computer equipment and various wall plaques were taken from the office area, with the stolen goods worth $4000.
He said security arrived at the restaurant shortly after the break in but the thieves had fled from the scene.
