Car fire believed to be deliberate

POLICE are appealing for help to find an arsonist who set a car on fire in Narre Warren last week.
The White 1987 Toyota Ute was parked out the front of a house in Slater Court on Wednesday, 23 August when it was set alight sometime between 11pm and 11.50pm.
The fire was started in the inside of the car and quickly spread throughout the vehicle, causing damage with an estimated repair bill of $8000.
Anyone with information regarding the crime is asked to contact Detective Senior Constable Kevin Cooper on 9705 3111.
