Drinking companion steals bike

A CRANBOURNE teenager had her new BMX bike stolen after she became intoxicated in a park.
Police said the 17-year-old girl was drinking in parkland off Ruffey Drive in Cranbourne with two men she had just met.
Police said she was considerably intoxicated when one of the men demanded she hand over her bicycle.
When she refused, the man pulled her off the bike, pushed her to the ground and rode away.
The bike was a blue Giant GFR 20-inch BMX, worth $199.
Anyone who may have seen a bike matching the description contact Senior Constable Pete Howe at Cranbourne Police Station on 5991 0600.
