SENIORS Card holders can travel free on metropolitan public buses, trams and trains and V/Line services until this Sunday. The free travel is part of this week’s Seniors Festival.
Narre Warren South MP Judith Graley said the free transport started last Sunday and would continue until Sunday 14 October. “Every year the Seniors Festival offers hundreds of free and low cost events to entertain, engage and celebrate seniors across Victoria,” Ms Graley said. “Under this year’s theme of ‘Be Inspired’, the 25th anniversary Seniors Festival will be a celebration of your contribution to Victorian communities and a chance to get out, get active and get together,” he said.
