A MAN was robbed and bashed outside the Hallam Hotel on Wednesday, 17 January.
Police said the 41-year-old man Bangholme man was in the hotel car park about 9.30pm when he was approached by a man who demanded he hand over his mobile phone and wallet.
The victim complied but was then punched and kicked.
He suffered bruising to his right eye area and required attention from a local doctor.
Police described the man’s assailant as being aged in his mid 30s, about 178cm tall, medium build, shaved head with heavily tattooed arms and legs. He was wearing a white T-shirt and white knee length shorts.
