Recycling push for cartridges

CASEY residents have been urged to get onboard the Cartridges 4 Planet Ark campaign which aims to get Australians recycling more printer cartridges.
Mayor Kevin Bradford said with18 million printer cartridges ending up in Australia’s landfills every year, it was important that everyone stops dumping and starts recycling old cartridges.
The campaign has set up special printer cartridge recycling bins in over 2300 participating Australia Post, Officeworks, Harvey Norman, Tandy, Dick Smith Electronics and PowerHouse outlets.
“Casey businesses wanting free cartridges recycling pick-up only have to call 1800 24 24 73,” Cr Bradford said.
