Spades of trouble

A YOUNG man was in his Hampton Park home with friends when he was attacked with a shovel.
About 11pm on Saturday, a man wearing jeans and no shirt walked into the Michelle Drive house carrying the shovel.
He asked who lived in the house and when the victim said he did, he hit him in the face with the shovel.
The man’s friends wrestled the attacker to the ground and removed the shovel from him before forcing him from the house.
Police believed the shovel belonged to the victim who was taken to hospital with swelling and bruising under his left eye.
The attacker was described as about 17 years old, 170 centimetres tall, of chubby build with short bleached blond hair.
Anyone with information can call Detective Senior Constable Ollie Gaspari at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0661.
