MORE silver spoons have been given to Casey babies in recognition of their birth on Australia Day.
Little Tayla Jane Wilkinson entered the world at 4.59am on 26 January at Berwick’s Casey Hospital weighing 7lb 4oz.
Proud parents Shane Wilkinson and Amanda Brinkman from Berwick were delighted with the arrival and purchased a special commemorative birth certificate to celebrate the special occasion.
Ms Brinkman said her son and Tayla’s half-brother Harrison were equally ecstatic about the arrival of his little playmate.
The couple recently received a certificate and the silver spoon in the post from the Australia Day Council.
Proud Cranbourne couple David Orrock and Emma Keppler also welcomed an Australia Day baby at Casey Hospital on 26 January when little Brodie David arrived weighing 7lb 11oz.
The family recently received their commemorative spoon and certificate.
Last week, and as reported in the News, the Cranbourne Lions Club presented little Bailey James Taylor Casbolt of Narre Warren South with a silver spoon to commemorate his birth on Australia Day.
