Business festival aims at growth

SMALL business owners or those thinking about starting their own enterprises have been urged to attend Victoria’s Small Business Festival next month.
Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan said June was an important month for all Victorian small businesses as it promised a great opportunity for business owners to progress by attending various events at Victoria’s Small Business Festival ‘Energise Enterprise 06’.
The festival’s seminar topics include starting a business, managing a business, building a business, exporting and E-business and technology.
Mr Donnellan encouraged all business organisations, government and non-government agencies, to participate in the month of events as an excellent opportunity to gain an understanding of what was required to improve their businesses’ performance.
Mr Donnellan said Energise Enterprise 06 aimed to inspire and inform small businesses by offering them more than 250 events in the metropolitan and regional areas of Victoria.
The event also coincides with the annual conference of the International Council for Small Business, which will be held in Melbourne for the first time.
For a copy of the Energise Enterprise 06 program, is available from Mr Donnellan’s office, phone 9706 0566 or visit the website www.business.vic.god.au/energise
