Juniors sign on to kick off

CASEY’S junior football clubs are gearing up for another big season with two sign-up days planned for this weekend.
On Sunday, 29 January there will be a sign-up day at Strathaird Reserve in Narre Warren South for the newly named Casey Central Junior Football Club.
The day will run from noon to 2pm at the reserve on Community Parade and there will be opportunities for kids to get footy stars’ autographs as well as a free sausage sizzle and a free can of soft drink upon registering.
Registration will be for:
* Auskick (boys and girls aged five and above).
* Boys Aussie Rules football – under 9, under 10, under 11, under 12, under 13, under 14.
* Girls Footy – under 18.
* Goalkick Soccer (boys and girls aged five and above).
* Boys Junior Soccer – under 8, under 10, under 12, under 14, under 16.
* Girls Junior Soccer – under 8, under 10, under 12, under 14, under 16.
The Narre South Lions Junior Football Club will also hold its sign-up days on Saturday, 28 January and Sunday, 29 January from 10am to 1pm at Strathaird Primary School, Sherwood Road, Narre Warren South.
Parents and children can sign up for Under 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 teams, as well as an under-17 girls’ team and Auskick.
There will also be a free sausage sizzle.
