New bus services boon for commuters

THE wheels will be going around on three new bus services throughout Casey starting from next year.
Cranbourne, Narre Warren and Berwick commuters will benefit from the new routes announced by local MPs last week.
A Cranbourne to Narre Warren North service, Berwick to Narre Warren circle service and Cranbourne West to Frankston route will all commence in 2007. The new services will run to at least 9pm every day of the week.
The additional routes come on top of extra services added to already existing Berwick and Cranbourne bus schedules.
Cranbourne MP Jude Perera said he was delighted to announce the new bus services. “These extra services are a significant boost for people living in Cranbourne, Cranbourne West, Cranbourne South, Narre Warren, Narre Warren North and Narre Warren South,” Mr Perera said. Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan echoed Mr Perera’s thoughts. “The improved service will give people greater flexibility to attend appointments, visit relatives and friends, shop or socialise,” Mr Donnellan said.
