POLICE have called for witnesses to an assault in Endeavour Hills in April, after exhausting all other avenues of investigation.
Constable Kerry-Anne Rappell said the altercation occurred about 10pm on Wednesday 26 April, in a car park at Endeavour Hills Shopping centre next to the Safeway Petrol Station.
Const Rappell said two men approached a man aged in his early 20s after he got out of his car. The man then had a short conversation with the pair who then allegedly started to assault him, hitting his head, chest and arms.
A group of about six other people, both boys and girls, allegedly joined in the attack.
Const Rappell said not many cars were around at the time of the altercation, nor was there any security surveillance.
She asked anyone with information about the incident to contact Endeavour Hills police on 9709 7666 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
