Santa farms out the toys

By Rebecca Fraser
OZ Child family services in Dandenong held its annual children’s Christmas party recently at Myuna Farm in Doveton.
“There were smiles all around and everyone had a great day,” Oz Child’s Glenda Quinn said.
The party was for the organisation’s foster families and for children in care.
The children enjoyed face painting, balloon animal making, lucky dips, ice-creams, fruit, cakes, songs, a treasure hunt, train rides and of course the animals themselves at the farm. They also enjoyed a surprise visit from Santa who arrived to give out toys and lollies.
“The children had so much to do,” Ms Quinn said.
Oz Child runs programs across the south-eastern suburbs, including foster care, family services, disability, education and legal services.
