STUDENTS at Berwick’s Monash University learned how to survive their tertiary years last week at a special information week.
The Student Survival Week showed students the support services the university community offered to make life just that little bit easier.
Student welfare officer Keegan Street, of Monash Union of Berwick Students, said the week’s activities promoted many activities that the university provided.
These ranged from counselling services, the chaplaincy, careers advice and language and learning services.
Mr Street said many students were not aware that these services were available to them and that help was available.
“If a student has an assignment or essay due, they can contact the language and learning centre for help with referencing.
“Counsellors are also available every day and many students don’t know this,” he said.
