TWO men escaped with cash following an armed robbery at a Hampton Park service station on Tuesday night.
The Foodies service station in Ormond Road was robbed after two men – one armed with a screwdriver and one with a sawn-off shotgun – entered the service station at about 11.10pm.
Police said the man armed with the screwdriver jumped the counter and took out a cash drawer from the till.
The other bandit took the contents of the drawer.
The first man then jumped back across the counter and the pair fled with the cash and cigarettes.
The men were described as of Asian appearance and about 18 years old.
No-one was injured in the incident.
