GRAND Prix fever has swept through Melbourne and even local children got a taste of motor sport at Westfield Fountain Gate.
The Hot Wheels MegaTrack is a fast and challenging circuit with several features packed into two 30-metre tracks.
Racers were able to review their style on television screens, with two cameras inserted into the track to capture footage of each race.
Participants also recorded their individual lap times and compared them to the fastest efforts from each day.
Race officials said the popular 3.6 metre drop was a main feature of the track.
Berwick three year-old Jack Cardwell was crowned champion title with the fastest lap time and Fountain Gate Primary School students also wowed the crowd with their racing feats.
