SCISSORS were used to force a Narre Warren North boy to hand over his mobile phone and belongings outside Noble Park Railway Station on the weekend.
Police said the 14-year-old boy and two friends got off a train at 6.30pm last Saturday and were then surrounded outside the station by a group of 20 youths of African appearance.
One of the youths pulled out a pair of scissors and told the boy to hand over his mobile phone.
The boy handed over the phone after he was punched by another youth.
Police want any witnesses or anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
