“Over the last two decades, the Highland Gathering has become increasingly more popular as additional spectacles are added to the program,” Cr Bradford said.
Features of the day include pipe band competitions, weightlifting games, caber tossing, Scottish Highland and country dancing, and clan displays.
There will also be the Black Scottish Terriers and West Highland Whites in competition.
The 20th Annual Berwick Highland Gathering starts at 10am at Akoonah Park, Berwick, entry via Manuka Rd (Melway Ref: 111 H10).
