Expo goes green

CASEY residents have been invited to take time out and sustain themselves this Saturday, 3 September as part of a sustainable market and expo in Berwick.
Sponsored by the CaseyCardinia Greens, the afternoon will include allergy testing, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, massage, natural health and aromatherapy.
Held at the Berwick Masonic Hall in High Street, the expo will also conduct tai chi demonstrations at 2.30 and 3.30pm and a demonstration of QiGong, a traditional Chinese medical exercise, at 3pm.
Organic refreshments and produce will also be available as well as local entertainment, produce stalls and children’s activities.
Ann Bolch, who is helping organise the event, said this would be an opportunity for local people to get to know each other in a relaxed and healthy atmosphere.
Six local musicians will be coming together to perform folk and soul music and there will also be pottery, basket weaving, local artists and indigenous plant displays.
Children can also participate in free activity in the ClayPlay corner.
Entry is free and the market and expo is open from 1 to 5pm.
