THIEVES left a trail of destruction last week when they robbed an Endeavour Hills home and then set its fence on fire.
Police said the Gabo Court home was targeted between 7.30am and 7.30pm on Wednesday, 4 October, when a garden shed was forced open.
Stolen were a Bosch cordless drill worth $250 and garden tools worth $200. Police said a fence was then set on fire before the thief fled the scene. An alert neighbour was quick to douse the flames but police said the fire caused extensive damage with the repair bill estimated at $1200.
