STUDENTS from Berwick Fields Primary School demonstrated their commitment to a cleaner Australia last week when they held their own Clean Up Australia Day activity.
Last Tuesday students from grade three and four, along with their principal Stephen Wigney and environmental specialist Joan Gaudion, collected waste from the Golf Links Road connecting pathway up to Sweeney Reserve.
Teacher Lara Schendzielorz said students were proud to be involved in the cleanup as they knew their actions could help care for the environment.
