Preps ready for school

SMILES and excitement filled the air at Chalcot Lodge Primary School, Endeavour Hills, as new Prep students commenced their school lives.
Waving goodbye to their parents, and looking sharp in their new uniforms, the young Chalcot students can look forward to meeting new friends and exploring their classrooms.
Students were especially excited to read along to stories on interactive whiteboards in their classrooms.
Principal Kay Schlanger remarked at the children looking very happy and confident.
She attributed this to the comprehensive Pre-school Prep Transition Program, known as the Chalcot Kinder Club.
The Chalcot Kinder Club is open to all four year-olds and allows students to meet teachers and become familiar and comfortable with school life.
