Renewal for New Year

ABOUT 100 Doveton and Eumemmerring residents enjoyed a Christmas and end of year celebration all rolled into one.
The annual event was held at the Doveton Neighbourhood Learning Centre and was organised by officials of Doveton and Eumemmerring Neighbourhood Renewal program.
There were many activities for the children on the day with the face painting and craft work-shops proving the biggest hit with the youngsters.
Guests dined on a traditional Australian barbecue and enjoyed the company of their fellow neighbours and community leaders.
Officials said there were many new faces in attendance and encouraged all local residents to continue to support the 2007 programs run by the Doveton and Eumemmerring Neighbourhood Renewal organisation.
