A YOUNG football fan got the surprise of her life recently when her sports idol visited her Narre Warren school.
Oatlands Primary School student Sabrina Kustreba is a big Tigers fan and was delighted when Richmond player Andrew Krakouer dropped in to pay a surprise visit.
School principal Stuart Daly said the grade five student recently finished a project on the skilful goal kicker and knew that he played as a rover with the Richmond Football Club and that he has kicked many goals for the Tigers this season.
Krakouer spent time with Sabrina looking at her project and watching the computer presentation she had made on Powerpoint.
During his visit, Mr Stuart said many photos were taken and stories swapped.
He also gave Sabrina a football and a Tigers football jumper.
“Andrew’s visit proved a real surprise for Sabrina and has been a highlight of her year,” Mr Daly said.
