Seeing double, and triple too

TWINS and triplets formed the majority when the Casey and District Multiple Birth Association came together recently to celebrate the start of Multiple Birth Awareness Week.
Sixty-five members of the Casey and District MBA met at Tirhatian Park, Dandenong North, with the youngest twins just two weeks old.
Judith Saffigna, of Casey and District MBA, said it was lovely to see so many fathers taking part.
Ms Saffigna said everyone had enjoyed the opportunity to chat and play when they were not too busy eating or drinking.
She said recent figures indicated that one in 72 pregnancies resulted in a multiple birth and with 66 clubs throughout Australia, with a total of more than 5000 members, many multiple-birth parents turn to the Australian Multiple Birth Association for much-needed advice and assistance.
