Air-conditioners go hot

MORE than two dozen air-conditioners have been stolen from the former Westgate storage facility at Pound Road West in Hampton Park.
Police believe the thefts, of 26 Fujitsu Inverter wall-mounted air-conditioner units, took place between December 2007 and March 2008.
The air-conditioners are worth $1500 each and nine of the units had small amounts of damage.
Anyone who suspects they have purchased one of the stolen units or who has information relating to this crime should contact Detective Senior Constable Shane Moodie at the Cranbourne Criminal Investigation Unit on 5991 0600.
