THE man killed and then incinerated in the boot of a car in Narre Warren has been laid to rest.
Doncaster’s Michael Daou, 22, was discovered by Narre Warren East CFA members after they were called out to extinguish a car fire on Mountain Flat Road on Saturday 18 November. Mr Daou was farewelled at a funeral on Monday.
Police are yet to release details about how Mr Daou was killed but said he was dead before the fire was started. The search for the killer continues, with police keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the victim involved in an argument in Scoresby only hours beforehand.
Police are also urging anyone who may have seen a green Commodore, registration RBZ 682, in the Narre Warren area early on 18 November to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
