THE four games played during the week by Hampton Park Bowls Club teams all yielded winning results.

Except for one rink, the game played against Burden Park was a close one.
Rhonda Diaper, Gwen Clough, Ellen Smith and skip Heather Naismith stayed with their opponents all day to go down by only two shots (23-25).
In another very close game that went to the wire, Dot Carr, June Damon, Gail Wilcock and skip Mary Hose missed by just one shot (23-24).
A productive last three ends put Gail Williams, Tracy Storm, Grace Hogan and skip Geri Graafsma four shots in the lead (23-19).
Mavis Kelly, Helen Lambert, Ann Westwell and skip Christine Hendrie built on their early lead to take the margin out to 27 shots by the end of the game (38-11).
Hampton Park 2-107 d Burden Park 0-79.

The Parkers played Coatesville at Keysborough for a three-rink win.
Ray Leggett, Ray Wood, Andrew Brandolin and skip Graham Slight won by seven shots (20-13).
Jim Westwell, Lance Davis, Christine Hendrie and skip Geoff Ladner won by one shot (18-17).
Keith McCarthy, Keith Damon, Geoff Ampt and skip Neville Hendrie won by 18 shots (34-16).

The 12 second green speed did not really suit Hampton Park at Burden Park but players battled on to secure an overall 15-shot win.
Good play by Pat Moevasa, Lance Davis, Geoff Ampt and skip Bob Woodfield with their 14-shot win set the game up for the overall win (25-11).
Sean McDonald, Larry Simpson, Zak Storm and skip Neville Hendrie could not bridge the gap and went down by three shots (17-20).
Even though their lead was cut back, Les Unwin, Ken Cobden, Robert Naismith and skip Graham Slight won by five shots (25-20).
Jim Westwell, Jeff Crozier, Lionel Williams and skip Geoff Ladner led all day only to be pipped at the post by one shot (21-22).

Glen Waverley became another victim of the Pound Road green when it went down by 78 shots.
A big second half by Allan Unwin, Greg Pentland, Bernie Bruggeman and skip Andrew Brandolin set up a 15-shot win (34-19).
Bob Meany, Ray Wood, Allan March and skip Bill Webb teamed well to run away to a 32 shot win (46-14).
The second half also made the difference for Ray Leggett, Mark Paton, Keith Damon and skip Bob Nicol with a 14 shot win (36-22).
A 14-shot lead from the start was just what Jos Van Hout, Fred McBrian, Paul Barna and skip Rob Woff needed in their 17-shot win (38-22).
Hampton Park 18-154 d Glen Waverley 0-76.
