Dandenong City visited Hampton Park in what turned out to be a slightly one-sided game.
Dot Carr, June Damon, Andrew Brandolin and skip Mary Hose got off to a good start, but had to hold off a strong fightback from the opposition (23-21).
Rallying after the tea break put Rhonda Diaper, Shirley Burnside, Ellen Smith and skip Heather Naismith into the lead where they stayed (28-16).
Eighteen ends of high scores had Tracy Storm, Gwen Clough, Grace Hogan and skip Geri Graafsma cruise to a 32 shot win (40-8).
Mavis Kelly, Helen Lambert, Ann Westwell and skip Christine Hendrie put the foot on the pedal after the seventh end to win by 33 shots (40-7).
Scores: Hampton Park 2-131 d Dandenong City 0-52.

Hampton Park played at Elsternwick Park in light rain.
Jim Westwell, Lance Davis, Christine Hendrie and skip Geoff Ladner came from behind to win by one shot (19-18).
Being 15 shots down after seven ends was just too much for Ray Leggett, Ray Wood, Andrew Brandolin and skip Graham Slight to come back from (25-16).
Winning 15 of the last 17 ends left Keith McCarthy, Keith Damon, Geoff Ampt and skip Neville Hendrie 19 shots in front (28-9).
Scores: Hampton Park 10-63 d Elsternwick Club 2-52.

Berwick visited Hampton Park and adapted very well to the green.
Les Unwin, Ken Cobden, Robert Naismith and skip Graham Slight came from behind only to be pipped on the post by one shot on the last end (21-22).
Restricting the opposition to only five shots over the last 17 ends gave Sean McDonald, Larry Simpson, Zak Storm and skip Neville Hendrie a 16-shot win (32-16).
Par Moevasa, Lance Davis, Geoff Ampt and skip Bob Woodfield had to settle for a draw when they dropped eight shots on the last three ends (23-23).
Jim Westwell, Jeff Crozier, Lionel Williams and skip Geoff Ladner dropped only nine ends in their 12-shot win (25-13).
Scores: Hampton Park 15-101 d Berwick 3- 74.

The trip to Pakenham was most rewarding for Hampton Park as they won all rinks.
Bob Meaney, Ray Wood, Allan March and skip Bill Webb hung on to win by one shot (25-24).
An excellent finish allowed Jos Van Hout, Fred McBrian, Paul Barna and skip Rob Woff to win by six shots (20-14).
Gerry Cox, Greg Pentland, Bernie Bruggeman and skip Andrew Brandolin had done enough early to win by six shots (28-22).
A big last six ends opened up an 18-shot lead for Ray Leggett, Mark Paton, Keith Damon and skip Bob Nicol (31- 13).
Scores: Hampton Park 18-104 d Pakenham 0-73.
