CASEY men over the age of 50 are being encouraged to take part in an informal discussion group.
The Older Men’s Discussion Group will meet fortnightly from Tuesday 8 April at the Balla Balla Community Centre in Cranbourne East.
Casey mayor Janet Halsall said: “The initiative is part of the Ageing Positively in Casey program, and provides an opportunity for men over 50 to meet in a relaxed environment to chat about the issues affecting them.”
“The discussion group will be interesting, informative and fun, and with the assistance of peer educators from the Council on the Ageing, will provide older men with the opportunity to learn from, meet and talk with other men,” she said.
