Kids make cultural connection

THE wider Casey community is being encouraged to attend a Sri Lankan drama performance this Saturday.
Children from the City of Casey and City of Greater Dandenong will perform in two shows at the Rowville Secondary College theatre.
Show director Kusumsiri Liyanaarachchi said both adults and children would enjoy the performance.
“Although the two plays are in Sinhalese and performed by children, we guarantee that adults will also enjoy it,” he said.
“This would be a wonderful opportunity to create awareness among the young children of Casey of the different cultural background within their own community.”
The shows start at 2pm and 6pm.
