Lucky winners wait to get a dressing down

By Kelly Yates
NINETY Casey women have won a competition through Westfield Fountain Gate to meet fashion experts, Trinny and Susannah, this weekend, as they make their trip Down Under to tell Australians what’s what in their wardrobes.
Stars of the hit shows What Not to Wear and Undress the Nation, Trinny and Susannah will be visiting Australia for the first time this month.
Known for their straight shooting fashion authority, the clothing doctors will help Westfield customers dress with complete confidence for their shape and size.
The ladies will kick start the day with a champagne breakfast at Fountain Gate, then travel in two buses to Westfield Southland where they will watch the live Trinny and Susannah show and then get a couple of hours to shop until they drop.
Westfield Fountain Gate’s Suzie Evans said the competition was open to all customers in the Narre Warren shopping centre.
“They had to spend $100 in the centre and then they could enter the draw,” she said.
“The lucky winners were drawn out at random.”
Despite there being a couple of male entries, Ms Evans said it was the women who triumphed.
Narre Warren’s Leeanne Zissimous said she was surprised she had won because she was one of the last people to enter the competition.
“I was filling out the forms right before the competition closed so I didn’t think I’d win,” she said.
“I’m still in shock. I don’t normally win anything like this.”
Ms Zissimous said she wanted Trinny and Susannah to help her dress more appropriately for her age.
“I’m not really up to date with fashion. My husband says I dress too old. I think it’s time for a wardrobe change,” she said.
Cranbourne North winner Karen Rogers said this was the first competition she had entered through Westfield.
“When I found out I had won I was so excited and rang all my friends,” she said.
Ms Rogers said she loved fashion, especially buying clothes and shoes.
“I can’t help myself with shoes. I buy a pair a week and have over 100 pairs.”
