Meeting to hear school’s back

A PUBLIC meeting will be held next week for residents wanting to know more about the transitional campus at the new Casey Central Secondary College.
Narre Warren South MP Judith Graley has organised the event, which will be held at Hillsmeade Primary School, the same site which will host the temporary campus for year seven students in 2009.
Department of Education officials will also attend and outline the plan which will be put in place to make the move as smooth as possible for new students.
The State Government decided last week to establish the transitional campus after originally breaking a pre-election promise to have Casey Central Secondary College ready to go in 2009.
The new college is set to be built on vacant land near the Casey Central Shopping Centre on Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road. It is now expected to be finished in 2010.
The meeting will be held on Monday 10 December at 7pm at Hillsmeade Primary School, 82 The Promenade, Narre Warren South.
