People search online

If you’ve ever followed along with the Yellow Pages advertisements on TV and actually ripped apart your phone books and used them to wrap your valuables for moving, you would know how difficult it is to actually locate a phone number with your phone books lying about in a million and one pieces.
Well fear not, as you can continue to rip your phone books to shreds, and you can even start tearing up your White Pages and Melways as well, as all of these are freely available for use online.
These services plus a whole lot more have been tied into one website to help you search and locate exactly who or what you are looking for and where you can find them.
The Yellow Pages website allows the user to search for a business or service anywhere in Australia, giving you details such as phone number, address, and even a link to an actual Melways page which will display where it is located exactly.
The White Pages website offers much the same service but, instead of searching businesses and organisations, allows you to search for people and family names.
Then we have the WhereIs website, which is aimed at finding exact Melways references for the location you are looking for, and also displaying a little map which you can navigate through to plan your exact course to get there.
These three websites combined provide a powerful way to find exactly what you’re looking for. Best of all, they are completely free for anyone with a computer and an internet connection.
You can browse any one of these websites at the following addresses:
http://www.yellowpages.com.au
http://www.whitepages.com.au
http://www.whereis.com.au
