Ratepayers are the winners

SIX City of Casey ratepayers have been named as the winners of the 2007 Rates Competition recently drawn by Casey mayor Colin Butler.
Cr Butler congratulated the winners at a special afternoon tea and thanked everyone who participated in the competition. “This year more than 1000 people entered the competition,” he said.
“This is a great effort and we are very pleased to be able to reward people who pay their rates early by giving them the chance to win some great prizes.”
This is the ninth consecutive year that the City of Casey has run the competition.
Prizes included four six-month full memberships to Casey Aquatic and Recreation Centre (ARC) and two $250 shopping vouchers donated by Centro Cranbourne.
Casey ARC membership winners are: Mr John Wiltshire, Berwick; Ms Tracy Basson, Cranbourne; Mr John and Mrs Joyce Rootes, Cranbourne East; Mr Donald and Mrs Elizabeth Cook, Lynbrook.
Centro Cranbourne voucher winners are: Mr Vasile and Mrs Julia Sirbu, Endeavour Hills; Mr John and Mrs Joan Frost, Narre Warren South.
