THIEVES are targeting global positioning systems (GPS) in alarming numbers, Casey police say.
Casey CIU Detective Sergeant Garry Kear issued a warning to GPS owners this week after a sharp increase in thefts over recent months.
Det Sgt Kear said motorists should take both the device and holding bracket off the windscreen when they leave their car unattended.
