Boy tells police of sexual assault

A 13-YEAR-OLD boy has told police he was sexually assaulted after meeting a man in a Hallam toilet block last week.
Police said the Casey boy was at the Spring Square public toilets on 12 March about 10pm when he met the man.
Detective Senior Constable Phil Ross said the two then travelled together in a car to the Hallam Industrial Area.
Det Sen Const Ross said the boy later reported the incident to his mother, who then called police.
He said a man was arrested at the same toilet block last Friday.
Narre Warren Police have since charged a 58-year-old Korumburra man over the incident.
He is charged with two counts of sexual penetration of a child under the age of 16, two counts of loitering for prostitution as a client and committing an indecent act.
He has since been bailed to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court in June.
