Guys and Dolls to rock the stage

PERFORMERS from the City of Casey are preparing to tread the boards in an upcoming production of Guys and Dolls.
Proven to be a sure-fire winner with audiences over the past 50 years, performers from the Windmill Theatre Company are sure to delight with their latest musical offering.
Drawing on a local cast and beyond, patrons will meet the gambler Nathan Detroit and his fiancee of 14 years Miss Adelaide, high roller Sky Masterton and missionary worker Sarah Brown as they embark on a memorable journey.
There are some great production numbers such as Sit Down You’re Rocking the Boat and Luck Be a Lady.
A Windmill Theatre Company spokesperson said the talented cast had been rehearsing in Berwick for the past three months and could not wait until the show was on stage in its upcoming three-week season.
Windmill has a proud history of over 30 years producing musicals in the local area. Last year Windmill received several awards for its shows Grease and Cabaret. Cabaret was voted the best musical production in the Lyrebird Awards and Windmill hope to add to their awards collection with this show.
Directed by Andrew Edge, a talented cast will be rolling the dice, dancing and singing in this latest production.
The show runs from Friday, 9 June until Saturday, 24 June. Shows are at 8pm with a 2pm matinee on Saturday, 17 June. For bookings call 9795 0175. The performances will be held at Monash Secondary College Theatre, corner Duerdin Street and Nantilla Road, Notting Hill.
