YOUNGSTERS still have the chance to take part in some school holiday fun organised by the City of Casey.
A variety of activities are on offer including a special Splash Out! event at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC), surfing, as well as the Junior Bunyip Program’s Mean and Green sessions.
The programs are either free or low cost and transport is provided for some of the activities.
The Summer Splash program will run from 16 – 25 January and includes a variety of activities such as the special Splash Out! event at MSAC.
This day of water fun includes an inflatable race course, wave pool, slides and movie screenings.
The school holiday program also includes activities such as surfing, a bike ride in Melbourne, day trip to the Australian Open Tennis, indoor sports day and a unique Rhino feed experience at Werribee Open Range Zoo.
The summer 2008 edition of the School Holidays Events and Activities Directory lists a great variety of fun activities for primary school-aged children and families. Some of the highlights include holiday fun days at the Casey Road Safety Education Centre as well as the Junior Bunyip program’s Mean and Green environmental school holiday program at Wilson Botanic Park.
