Jazzy madness is for the kids

QUALITY jazz music will be one of many highlights at a cocktail party fundraiser for the Narre Warren Children’s Centre this Saturday night.
The wider Casey community is encouraged to attend the event, which will raise much-needed funds for the Malcolm Court centre. The night will be held at the City of Casey function room in Narre Warren, with jazz band B3 Madness providing the entertainment. There will also be games, lucky envelopes, a silent auction and other fun activities.
Fundraising committee president Lynne Wood said they hoped to raise about $5000 on the night.
“We are building a pirate ship for the children to use outside. We are also doing some landscaping around the playground and the money will go towards this,” Ms Wood said. “Anyone that enjoys jazz should come along. It will be a great night and you will be supporting a very worthy cause.”
Tickets are $40 and include food, wine, beer, soft drink and one free cocktail.
For bookings call the Narre Warren Children’s Centre on 9704 6757.
