HALLAM murderer Apolonio Ramirez Serrano has been extradited back to Victoria after being caught on the run in Cairns.
Serrano faced court again earlier this week to be officially told of his 17-year jail sentence with a non-parole period of 13 years for killing his Endeavour Hills partner.
The 66-year-old had escaped police capture for a month before Queensland Police arrested him in a Cairns hotel last week.
Serrano had absconded during the last week of his Supreme Court murder trial in which he was found guilty of killing his partner of three years, Milicia Trailovic.
Ms Trailovic’s body has never been recovered.
