A NARRE Warren man was one of two people killed in car crash in Lakes Entrance on Friday.
The 30-year-old died at the scene after the Holden sedan in which he was a back seat passenger and another vehicle collided head-on about 6.30pm.
Police said the two cars were travelling in opposite directions along the Princes Highway about five kilometres east of Lakes Entrance.
A 27-year-old Parkdale man, who was a passenger in the same car, also died in the collision.
The driver of the car, a 24-year-old Mentone woman and the front seat passenger, a 28-year-old Mordialloc man, have both been discharged from the Bairnsdale Hospital with minor injuries.
The occupants of the second vehicle, a 65-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman from Mt Waverley, are in a stable condition in The Alfred hospital’s intensive care unit.
Police said the names of the two men who died would not be released.
Investigators from the Major Collision Unit are gathering evidence for the coroner.
